The following items may need to be added to your Home Kit Build. Note: we provide the purchase of the initial kit above, but the list of items below may also be needed. If you already have things in place you can leave those items out.

Ground Work/Site Prep/Gravel

The location needs to be clear and ready. Gravel may need to be brought in. If you are unsure how ready your site is, one of our team can come out and make an assesment to confirm where you're at.

Base: Concrete Pad or Concrete Foundation/Basement

Your Home or Cabin will definitely need to be put on a foundation. Options are for a concrete slab/full foundation on prepared ground. Depending on your ground, other options may need to be considered.

Roofing (ice & water barrier & steel)

The building kits come with tongue and groove roof slats - but for water tightness you will want the ice/water barrier and the steel roof.

Insulation & Sheathing/Exterior Stud & Siding Kits

If you would like that extra layer of protection, and year round use, we can add insulation and sheathing. This would be recommended for the Cabins and will be necessary for Homes.

Insulating exterior - by combining these elements - mineral wall insulation, tongue and groove boards, metal brackets, and wooden components - the structure achieves both efficient insulation and a visually pleasing appearance. Do it yourself building kits. EZ Log Structures.

EZ Log Semi D-Log tongue & groove wood siding (Add 10%)

Semi D-Log siding (Max) 3/4″ x 5-1/8″ (18mm x 130mm)

EZ Log Full D-Log tongue & groove wood siding (Add 14%)

Full D-Log siding (Otoczak) 1-1/8″ x 5-1/8″ (28mm x 130mm)

Heavy Duty maintenance free extruded PVC polymer siding (Add 20%)

Vox extruded prefinished PVC polymer siding 5/16″ x 13″ (7mm x 330mm)

Custom Local Siding Quote

We can also provide you a quote for a locally sourced siding option. PVC, Steel, or other.

Note: Siding Kits will also need locally sourced 2×6 studs, stud screws, siding, corner blocks, & trims, extending the roof overhang 12" and is not included in the percentage price listed above.
